Jigsaw Better Business is an Award Winning Enterprise Ireland, IDA, & Local Enterprise Office Lean Service Provider and through creative problem solving, people development & process innovation, we help great businesses BE BETTER.
The Jigsaw Better Business team help business leaders to step back and look at what they do each day with fresh eyes. They do this using Lean, Sustainability, Digitalization, & Innovation, and while all of this is associated with improving processes and efficiency, at its heart is helping people. It is people who carry out the daily business operations, manage the business and have a vision for its future.
Working with Jigsaw Better Business means having an experienced mentor stand alongside you asking insightful questions. We have worked with hundreds of businesses across Ireland including butchers, bakers and – yes – candlestick makers. No matter what kind of business you have, after working with us you will make improvements in how your business operates. Every project we have worked on has resulted in cost savings or increased capacity and usually both together.
However, we believe that the intangible benefits are as important. These include more confidence about making business decisions, better relationships between departments and getting closer to long-term goals. For business owners and sole traders it means getting the work done within normal working hours and having a more sustainable work-life balance. In other words, Better Business!

Allyson is co-founder and MD of Jigsaw Better Business and has significant experience working on the Lean for Micro program. She has extensive experience in operations and finance and is an approved provider of the Lean Business offer with Enterprise Ireland & the IDA. Allyson has coached, trained, mentored 100’s companies and team in Lean Principles.
Paul is very experienced in delivering solutions for making tasks or Processes in companies Automated. Paul can automate and digitize certain tasks for clients and use cutting edge technology to deliver results - Faster - Better - Cheaper.
“I didn’t know it was possible to ask so many questions!” Stuart is the co-founder and C.I. Director of Jigsaw Better Business and has extensive experience in consulting, training, retail, and operations management. With Black Belts in Lean & Six Sigma and 3rd level qualifications in Psychology, Innovation, and Coaching, he has a unique skillset and is well placed to guide the person and the process through change.
Eamonn is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Learning and Development professional with proven team leadership, training design, problem solving and facilitation skills delivering innovative solutions to achieve business objectives. His speciality has been in the areas of project team leadership, project deployment and realisation, training design and delivery, and the maintenance of policies, procedures, budgets and Service Level Agreements in a highly regulated pharmaceutical (API & Biopharma) manufacturing environment.
Eamonn possesses an excellent rapport with clients with his structured and friendly manner when delivering the Lean mentoring. He is an excellent communicator, very structured and methodical in his approach to problem solving. He engages with the client at every level and ensures the best possible customer experience throughout the delivery.

Eamon holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry & Physics, MPhil (Physics) Research Master and a Lean Black Belt.
Julie is a chartered organisational psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland. Her Master’s degree and years of experience working in Organisational Psychology equips her to improve the way that people experience work.
Clients and colleagues of Julie’s have said that she is a great example of how to balance a people focus with a task focus. With a head for results and a heart for people, she aims to support and challenge great businesses to be better, mostly through interactive training, facilitation, and coaching.

Before joining Jigsaw Better Business in October 2021, she worked as a business psychologist, managing a portfolio of clients across all sectors (technology, financial, government, medical, FMCG, non-profit, etc.). She has international facilitation and coaching experience, providing group and one-to-one development sessions on a range of topics, to individuals at all levels of their organisation. In particular, she enjoys working with clients on topics including emotional intelligence, decision making, change management, stress management and resilience, self-awareness, and psychological safety.
“Mild Mannered and Methodical” Mark is an experienced Retail Operations Manager specializing in large store, high turnover environments. Mark has excellent leadership and management skills. He has successfully completed many change projects and has been responsible for the planning and delivery of same. He is an approved provider of the Lean Business Offer with Enterprise Ireland and works with numerous Local Enterprise offices delivering the Lean for Micro Program.
Sophie is a member of Environmental Science Association of Ireland (ESAI) and The Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES). Beginning her career in environmental monitoring, she made the switch over to sustainability coaching after completing her MSc in Climate Change from DCU.
Since joining Jigsaw, she has coached numerous small businesses across the country in becoming more sustainable, in industries such as health and wellbeing, education, retail, and hospitality. She likes to take a nuanced, holistic approach to sustainability and work clients to understand their full potential. She is often praised for her authenticity and dedication to completing the task at hand and is an avid believer in bringing the client with you ever step of the way.

Kasia is a Lean, Six Sigma continuous improvement professional with over 15 years ofexperience in multi-functional shared services and supply chain global organisations. Kasia has a proven track record leading strategic initiatives, transformation programs, Change Management, Process Automation and deployment of Agile/Lean methodologies across organisations.
Innovation, creativity, professionalism and a commitment to excellence has formed a large part of Kasia’s career experience. These skills and her enthusiasm are of great benefit to the team.

Kasia holds a Bachelors in People Management, a Masters in Economics, a Masters in Strategic Quality Management, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Lean Six Master Black Belt.
Mick is a Master Black Belt Lean, Six Sigma continuous improvement professional. As a seasoned professional he has more than 35 years of experience in Industry through various Leadership roles across the Medical Device, Pharma and Technology sector. Mick is recognised for driving excellence in business, people, and processes and is passionate about people development. He is an experienced coach and has qualifications in Mediation and Executive Coaching and has also spent a number of years with full responsibility for Learning and Development in a major BioPharma multinational. With over 20 years in Lean and Process Excellence in both multinational and small to medium enterprises he has trained people to both Green Belt and Black Belt Levels.
With years of experience in the retail and high-level hospitality industries, André has an extensive background in client-facing roles, working to provide the highest level of service and support in all his previous jobs including high-end restaurants and managerial positions in busy, fast-paced retail.

Catherine is an experienced Lean practitioner and Organisational Behaviour specialist who provides consulting and coaching services to organisations focused on improving their processes and adding value to their service.She has held lead roles inproject management and organisational development projects and is accustomed to providing training and coaching supports to leaders and employees at all levels of an organisation.

Ashley is an experienced Lean specialist who is also a highly adaptable project manager with experience in the technology, travel and engineering industries. His leadership style is one of coaching, encouragement and clear communication. He has completed multiple internal projects to analyse and improve the efficiency of service desk transitions. Ashley has worked in the past with many innovative companies such as IBM, PayPal, Vodafone, Carlsberg, Arla Foods, EMCOR, Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Ireland, TUI, Foxpak, Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann and can bring many of his learnings from these
industries to any client base.
